‎“Iraqi SOMO” denies discussing OPEC+ oil production increase

Alaa al-Yasiri, head of the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company SOMO, said today, Tuesday, that a decision on increasing OPEC + production was not discussed at the next group meeting.

According to Reuters, Al-Yasiri said, “There are no discussions on this issue.”

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait also denied a report that said that increasing production by 500 thousand barrels per day will be discussed at the next OPEC + meeting on December 4.
