SAUDIA Group is the Official Airline Partner of the sixth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute held at King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh from Tuesday, October 25th through Thursday, October 27th.
SAUDIA Group’s participation in FII Institute will showcase its commitment to sustainability as well as providing solutions to enhance the guest travel experience with new products and services through digital transformation. It’s also a continuation of its involvement in international events held within the country by expanding the Group’s international network and connecting the world to the Kingdom, which is a primary objective of Saudi Arabia’s National Transport Strategy.
Captain Ibrahim Koshy, the Chief Executive Officer of SAUDIA, is scheduled to participate in a panel session under the topic, Navigating A Disentangling Globe, that tackles the question of how companies can successfully deal with the bottlenecks in global shipping and trade today.
The event serves as an opportunity for SAUDIA Group to exchange expertise and knowledge with a multitude of local and international corporations. The airline is scheduled to sign two agreements related to sustainability, underlining the Kingdom’s role in facing the challenges presented by climate change and encouraging corporations to reduce carbon emissions. The agreements also seek to minimize the negative impacts of urbanization and urban development, helping to foster sustainable tourism within the Kingdom through environmentally friendly aviation.

Utilizing giant displays, SAUDIA Group intends to familiarize attendees with its subsidiaries, how they contribute to the national aviation framework, and their plans for the future. A simulated model of Alfursan lounge will showcase the premium services available to guests at major airports, such as Cairo International Airport, which include luxury waiting areas that guarantee comfort and privacy for all ages.
Thousands of international guests and hundreds of speakers form every sector are expected to attend the annual event to discuss essential topics on a global scale. Several of these topics include ways to balance success and sustainability, geopolitical upward mobility, parity in a disparate world, in addition to worldwide development and the risks challenges, opportunities, and horizons it holds. Multiple panel discussions and workshops aim to maximize investment opportunities, empower innovation, and enable advanced technology to explore and tackle global challenges.
