SABIC announces start of commercial operation at United Ethylene Glycol Plant 3

Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) announced on Monday the start of commercial operations at United Ethylene Glycol Plant (3). The annual production capacity is 700,000 metric tons of monoethylene glycol (MEG).
The financial contribution to the company’s financial results is expected to begin during the fourth quarter of 2022.
This comes with reference to the announcement made by Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) on 15 November 2021, regarding the latest developments of establishing third Ethylene Glycols Plant within its subsidiary (Jubail United Petrochemicals).
