SISCO and AMIANTIT sign contract worth SR400.16 mln between National Water and Tawzea

The Saudi Industrial Services Company “SISCO” and “Saudi Arabian AMIANTIT” announced the signing of a contract worth SR400.16 million announced on Thursday between the National Water Company and a consortium in which one of the affiliate companies participates, “International Water Distribution Company Limited” (Tawzea), Saudi Arabian AMIANTIT Company owns 50% of the capital, and the objective of the project is to manage, operate and maintain water and environmental treatment services in the northern sector for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by the National Water Company.
The two companies clarified that the alliance consists of three companies: “the Spanish company Aqualia, a distribution company (in which SISCO and AMIANTIT each own 50% of the capital), and the Alhaj Abdullah Ali Riza Co. “HAACO”.
It is worth noting that the International Water Distribution Company Ltd. owns 39% of the project company to implement the contract.
The two companies said in a statement to “Tadawul” that the contract term will last for 7 years, and they expect the project’s financial impact to be reflected in the first quarter of 2023.
This comes in reference to the announcement of SISCO and Amiantit companies on Tadawul on August 21, 2022 regarding awarding the project of managing, operating and maintaining water services and environmental treatment in the northern sector of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by the National Water Company.
