Saudi Minister of Industry discusses cooperation with US ‎officials ‎

The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef met with a number of officials of American companies in New York City, during his official visit to the United States of America, with the aim of strengthening trade relations between the two countries in the industrial and mining sectors.

He held a meeting with the CEO of Global Markets at General Electric Company, and a meeting with the CEO of Gray Orange Company. He also made a field visit to Newlab, during which he met with its CEO, where His Excellency and his accompanying delegation were briefed on the companies’ work, and discussed areas of bilateral cooperation in the industrial and mining sectors, to contribute to the development of a number of targeted sectors.

During the meetings, the fall discussed contributing to the promotion of investments between the two countries to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and reviewing the promising opportunities provided by the industrial and mining sectors in the Kingdom, in addition to reviewing the incentives and services provided by the industry and mineral wealth system to its partners in the private sector and foreign investors.

It is noteworthy that the visit of the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources to the United States of America comes with the aim of advancing growth paths between the two countries in a number of promising industries, and increasing the penetration of Saudi non-oil exports to American markets, which have witnessed remarkable growth during the past five years.
