Royal Decree: Appointing Prince Muhammed bin Salman as ‎Prime Minister ‎

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued today a royal order to appoint the Crown Prince Muhammed bin Salman as a prime minister.

The royal order is as follows:

With God’s help
We, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud,
King of Saudi Arabia
After perusal of the Basic Law of Governance, issued by Royal Order No. (A/90) dated 8/27/1412 AH.
And after reviewing the Cabinet Law issued by Royal Decree No. (A/13) dated 3/3/1414 AH.
We ordered the following:
First: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, shall be the Prime Minister; As an exception to the provision of Article (56) of the Basic Law of Governance, and from the relevant provisions contained in the Law of the Council of Ministers.

Third: Our order is communicated to the competent authorities for approval and implementation.
