An American man turned billionaire for a few hours and became the 25th richest man in the world, Darren from Louisiana became a billionaire overnight when he was surprised by the billions that were deposited in his bank account.

According to the Daily Star, he became wealthier than Virgin Group owner Richard Branson by a few hours. The money was deducted from his account after three days.

The strange accident happened to Darren, a father of two from Louisiana. He was surprised when he received a notification that $50 billion had been deposited into his account. To his dismay, he immediately checked his bank statement to make sure the notification was correct.

The man, who previously worked for the Louisiana Department of Public Safety, told the bank that he had neither earned the money nor anyone gave it to him. As a result, his bank account was frozen for three days and the amount was subsequently deducted.
