Dallah Health Services Profits Increase to SR70 mln during Q2, by 46%

The net profit after zakat and tax for Dallah Health Services Company during the second quarter grew to SR70 million, compared to SR48 million in the same quarter of last year by 46%.
This came after t announcement on Tuesday of the preliminary financial results for the period ending on 30.06.2022 (six months).
The operational profit amounted to SR70 million in the second quarter, compared to SR69 million in the same quarter of the previous year, an increase of 41%.
The gross profit amounted to SR212 million in the second quarter, compared to SR168 million in the same quarter of the previous year, an increase of 26%.
The net profit after zakat and tax in the 6-month period amounted to SR152 million, compared to SR100 million in the same period last year, a growth of 52%.
Profits per share in the current period reached SR1.69, compared to SR1.11 in the same period last year.
The reason of the increase (decrease) in the net profit during the current quarter compared to the same quarter of the last year is:
Net income attributable to the company’s shareholders for the second quarter of 2022 increased by 46.2% to SR 69.52 million compared to SR 47.54 million during the same quarter of the previous year, mainly due to revenue growth of 18.9% in the second quarter of 2022 to reach SR 583.82 million and an increase of SR 92.99 million compared to SR 490.83 million during the same quarter of the previous year, as a result of continued growth in operations and The growth in the number of patients and the increase in occupancy rates in both the inpatient and outpatient departments, in addition to the decrease in the ratio of operating costs to operating revenues as a result of the improvement in the management of operational costs.
The reason of the increase (decrease) in the net profit during the current quarter compared to the previous quarter of the current year is:
Net income attributable to the company’s shareholders for the second quarter of 2022 decreased by 15.9% compared to the first quarter of 2022 as a result of the decrease in revenues by 4.2% due to the seasonality of activity during the holy month of Ramadan as well as the increase in the cost of Murabaha financing
The reason of the increase (decrease) in the net profit during the current period compared to the same period of the last year is:
Net income attributable to the Company’s shareholders during the period ended 30 June 2022 (six months) increased by 51.9% to SR 152.15 million compared to SR 100.15 million during the same period of the previous year, mainly due to revenue growth of 21.1% to SR 1,193.22 million and an increase of SR 207.72 million compared to SR 985.49 million during the same period of the previous year, as a result of continued growth in operations and growth In the number of patients and the increase in occupancy rates in both the inpatient and outpatient departments, in addition to the decrease in the ratio of operating costs to operating revenues as a result of the improvement in the management of operating costs, in addition to the decrease in the company’s share in the losses of associates by SR1.6 million.
