ACWA Power announces start of operation for Umm Al Quwain IWP

ACWA Power Company announces the start of operation for water desalination at Umm Al Quwain IWP (Naqa’a) located in Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, UAE, having capacity of 681.9 thousand cubic meter/day desalinated potable water. ACWA POWER owns a net stake of 40% in Umm Al Quwain IWP.

The financial impact pertaining to the final operating phase of the project is expected from Q3 2022 financial results onwards.
