SADAFCO Releases its First Sustainability Report

Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Co. (“SADAFCO”) has released its first Sustainability Report for the year 2021/22 under the theme, “Towards Sustainability” in accordance with the GRI Standards. This report aims to provide stakeholders with a comprehensive view of SADAFCO’s approach and practices on sustainability.

As part of the ESG roadmap development, SADAFCO undertook its first materiality assessment and identified 14 material topics grouped into four strategic focus pillars Consumer, Environment & Climate, People & Community and Governance. The Company’s sustainability strategy and roadmap were further aligned with the Sustainable Developments Goals (SDGs), the Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Plan.

The report highlights SADAFCO’s commitment to address environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks and opportunities and showcases various initiatives undertaken by the Company to reduce GHG emissions, improve water efficiency, reduce wastage, improve employee wellbeing, strengthen governance, etc.
