IEA: Global electricity demand to slow in 2022 and 2023

According to “Reuters”, global demand for electricity is expected to rise by 2.4% in 2022, lower than the three percent that was expected in January, and it is expected to maintain the same growth rate in 2023, down from 6% in 2021, in line with the five-year average before the outbreak of the Corona virus pandemic.
