GO Announces latest developments in extending company commitment to publish network

Etihad Atheeb Telecom Company (GO) announced on Sunday that the company submitted the following files and documents to the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC):

1. A table showing the coverage percentage for each city subject to the license.

3) The Communications and Information Technology Commission did not accept the company’s submission to meet the network deployment requirements and thus cancelled the company’s license to use the frequencies.

In the event of cancellation of the spectrum license to provide telecom services in the frequency band 3.5 MHz by the Communications and Information Technology Commission, the company will extinguish the remaining book value of the frequency spectrum license, taking into account any compensation that may be obtained by the Communications and Information Technology Commission and any accounting treatments that may be made It is implemented in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards approved in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, noting that the remaining book value of the frequency spectrum and fixed telecommunications licenses are 302.8 million Saudi riyals as at the end of the additional period, which is considered the maximum loss that the company may suffer in the event of cancellation of the frequency spectrum license. “
