Bitcoin posts biggest weekly gain in 9 months.. Total Market Value hits $1 trln

Bitcoin surpassed the $21,000 level for the first time in more than a week, and it is now making progress toward the $22,000 level, which it briefly surpassed during the early trading hours on July 8^th.

The digital posted its highest weekly gain since October 3^rd, 2021. The largest cryptocurrency measured by market capitalization saw its value increase by more than 13% over the last week.

Other cryptocurrencies such as Ether, Avalanche and Solana have posted significant gains in recent days, helping bring the total value of the global cryptocurrency market to nearly $1 trillion.
