Two sources of OPEC+ said on Thursday the organization and allied members may boost crude output to compensate for a drop in Russian production.
One source familiar with the Russian position told Reuters that Moscow could agree to other producers raising production to compensate for its lower output.
A GCC member said that OPEC+ may take a decision on compensating the drop of Russian production in today’s meeting.
It is noteworthy that Russia produced its targeted share within the OPEC+ deal, as Moscow oil output reached 9.3 million bpd in April.
