Saudi Tadawul Announces Suspension of Trading Shares of Al-Saqr Cooperative

Saudi Tadawul announced on Wednesday the suspension of trading the shares of Al-Saqr Cooperative Insurance Company in the market for one trading session, which falls on Wednesday 25/05/2022.

Al Sagr Cooperative Insurance Company clarified to the valued shareholders that it will not be able to publish the interim financial statements for the period ending on March 31, 2022 on the specified date due to the non-completion of the regulatory required process related to the formation of a quorum board of directors authorized to approve the interim financial statements in accordance with the company’s articles of association.

The expected date for publishing the financial statements: It is expected that the financial statements will be published before August 10th 2022.

The Financial Impact: The financial impact cannot be determine which may result from postponing the announcement of the financial results, and that effect – if any – will be disclosed in a timely manner.

The Company shall apply the procedures for suspending trading in listed securities according to the listing rules approved by the Capital Market Authority Board Resolution No. (1-10-2019) dated 30-01-2019 and announced on (Tadawul) website on 25.03.2019.
