Saudi Ceramic Announces gas supplies resumption, return of factories to their production capacities

The Saudi Ceramic Company announced on Sunday the resumption of all gas supplies to the company’s factories as of Thursday, May 5, 2022, and consequently of the return of all factories to their production capacities on Sunday, May 8, 2022.

It added that the regular maintenance work, coinciding with the temporary suspension of gas supplies, has also been completed.

The Saudi Ceramic Company previously announced that it has received an official notification from the Natural Gas Distribution Company regarding a temporary suspension of natural gas supplies for a period of eight days, starting from May 1, 2022 due to maintenance work in the main supply lines of Aramco.

The suspension did not affect the company’s ability to fulfil its obligations to customers. Also, the financial impact of this suspension will not be significant. The impact will be reflected on the results of the second quarter of 2022.

This comes with reference to the announcement of the Saudi Ceramic Company on April 27, 2022 regarding the temporary suspension of natural gas supplies to some of its factories in the second industrial area in Riyadh for a period of eight days starting from May 1, 2022 as a result of maintenance work in the main supply lines of Aramco.
