Dallah Healthcare reports profit advance of 59% to SR87 mln in 1Q

Dallah Healthcare Co. announced that its profits after zakat and tax rose 59% to SR 87 million in the first quarter of 2022 compared to 55 million during the same period of 2021.

This came after Dallah announcement on Wednesday of the preliminary financial results for the period ending on 31.03.2022 (three months).

The company’s operational profit climbed 47% to SR 115 million in the 1^st quarter of the current year from SR 78 million in the same period of the previous year.

Gross profit of Dallah advanced 31% to SR 232 million in the first quarter of this year from SR 177 million a year ago, while the profit per share soared to SR 0.92 from SR 0.58.

Net profit after zakat and tax for the first quarter of 2022 increased by 59.1% to reach MSR 86.9 compared to MSR 54.61 for the same quarter of the previous year, mainly due to the following:

1- Increase in revenue by 23.2% for the first quarter of 2022 to reach MSR 609.40 compared to MSR 494.67 for the same quarter of the previous year, with an increase of MSR 114.73 as a result of the continued increase in the number of patient , which in turn was reflected in the increase in occupancy rates.

2-The improvement in the efficiency of the performance during the first quarter of 2022 compared to the same quarter of the previous year was reflected in the decrease in the ratio of costs to revenue.

The net profit after zakat and tax for the first quarter of 2022 increased by 4.1% to reach MSR 86.9 , compared to MSR 83.46 for the fourth quarter of the previous year, mainly due to the following:

1- Increase in revenue by 5.9 % for the first quarter of the year 2022 to reach MSR 609.40 , compared to MSR 575.57 for the fourth quarter of the previous year, with an increase of MSR 33.83 as a result of the continued increase in the number of Patient , which in turn was reflected in the increase in occupancy rates .
