BNP Paribas reports profits surge of 19.2% to €2.11bln

BNP Paribas announced on Tuesday that its profit rose 19.2% in the first quarter of 2022 boosted by higher trade activities.

According to Reuters, the French bank maintained its 2025 targets despite the Russian/Ukrainian war consequences.

The bank added that its net profit reached €2.11 billion in the first quarter if the current year compared to €1.77 billion in the same period of 2021 as a result of higher revenues by 11.7%.
