NADEC Appoints Abdulaziz Al-Raqeeb as Member of BOD

The National Agricultural Development Company (NADEC) announced on Tuesday the appointment of Eng. Abdulaziz bin Mohammad bin Hamad Al Rugaib as a new Board member (as Independent member) to fill the current vacant board seat, this appointment is effective starting from 05.04.2022 and to continue its tenor ending on 10.04.2024.

This comes with reference to the National Agricultural Development Company (NADEC) announcement in Tadawul on 27.02.2022 regarding Resignation of a Board Member (The Managing Director) Dr. Solaiman Abdulaziz Altwaijri due to independence reasons in the composition of the board of directors.

It added that Eng. Abdulaziz bin Mohammad bin Hamad Al Rugaib has over 15 years of trade and investment experience. He is currently the General Manager of Imtiaz Alarabia Company since January 2011. Member of H.M. Alrugaib Trading Company, Future of Fun Trading, Alreemah Real Estate Development Company, Herfy Food Serves Company.

It also added that Eng. Abdulaziz Al Rugaib holds a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering (2009) from Cornell University in the United States and a Bachelor of Petroleum Engineering (2005) from the University of Kansas in the United States.

Board Approval May not be Deemed Final, this Appointment Shall Be Put before the First General Assembly Meeting for Approval.

The chairman and members of the Board of Directors welcomed Eng. Abdulaziz Al Rugaib, as a new member of the Board of Directors, wishing him success in providing his knowledge and experiences to support the company’s business.
