CMA revenues advance to SR1.65bln in 2021

The Capital Market Authority (the CMA) revealed that it paid 5 of its top employees around SR 8.7 million in 2021 including short-term compensations.

According to its annual report, the CMA paid total salaries and compensation for its employees amounted to SR 531.2 million in 2021.

Meanwhile, the CMA hired 52 new employees last year while other 63 ones retired or quit, so the total employee number reached 741 compared to 752 employees in 2020.

Revenues of the authority rose to SR 1.65 billion in 2021 from SR 1.55 billion the year earlier.
