The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) announced that Saudi Arabia’s economy extended growth in the fourth quarter of 2021 on higher oil prices.
GASTAT said that Saudi GDP soared by 6.7% during Q4 2021 compared to the same period in 2020, while the Kingdom’s economy grew 3.2% in 2021.
Saudi oil real GDP in 2021 Q4 jumped by `10.8% compared to the year earlier, and it grew 0.2% in 2021 compared to 2020, while private sector real GDP rose by 4.9% in Q4 and by 6.2% in 2021.
Meanwhile, non-oil activities surged by 5.1% and government activities rose by 2.4%.
