Saudi cement exports drop 42% in January, February

Saudi cement market monthly report showed a decline of 10% in output over January and February, while exports dropped 42%.

Cement sales in Saudi market declined by 10.1% to 9.1 million tons during the first two months of 2022 from 9.9 million tons during the same period in 2021.

Total domestic output of cement was down 14% last month to 3.2 million tons from 4.9 million tons a year earlier.

In February, cement exports was down 24% to 746K tons from 978K tons in the same month of 2021.
