Medical Equipment profits surge 3% to SR77mln last year

Scientific & Medical Equipment House Co. announced that its profit after zakat and tax rose 3% to SR 77 million in 2021 from SR 74 million.

The company’s operational profit declined 5% to SR 83 million compared to SR 88 million.

Gross profit also soared 1% to SR 153 million last year from SR 151 million in the year before, while profit per share rose to SR 3.88 compared to SR 3.74 in 2020.

Higher net profit was soured by:

1- Winning and commencing (6) new projects during 2021 with total contracts value SAR: (258.4) M.

2- Major projects won and commenced at end of 2020 and continued in 2021 Fully with total contracts Value SAR: (267.4) M.
