Under the patronage of HRH Prince Faisal Bin Bandar Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Riyadh Region, and honored attendance of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue has held its first edition ceremonies to honor the national dialogue winner.
The Center has announced Al Fozan Holding Co. as the winner of the private sector National Dialogue award for Mujassam Watan competition launched by Al Fozan Social Foundation. Al Fozan has won this award after competing with 176 other individual, governmental and civil institutions.
Mr. Fozan Bin Mohammed Al Fozan, Deputy Chairman of AlFozan Holding and Deputy Chairman of Al Fozan Social Foundation expressed pride of Mujassam Watan team work, and appreciating the government’s interest of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. He also highlighted the government’s role of supporting the private sector to launch social initiatives and projects contribute to Saudi cities development and life quality improvement which reflect the leadership’s interest in all Saudis and encouraging talented citizens in enriching innovative and artistic movement.
Al Fozan has also praised the center’s role in launching these initiatives which are consistent with 2030 vision targets for achieving modern projects and urban renaissance reflect the cultural and historical heritage of the Kingdom.
Chairman of the board of King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue, Abdulaziz M. Al-Subail said that the National Dialogue award is a societal initiative within a strategic plan approved by the board to achieve more interaction among public, private, civil institutions and individuals in compatible with the comprehensive renaissance in the kingdom.
There were 176 competitors for the award. They included 95 individuals, 57 public institution, 17 civil ones and 7 private sector institutions.
About Mujassam Watan:
It is one of Al Fozan Social Foundation’s initiatives and a national award launched with the aim to shed more light on the Saudi youth talents through giving them the chance to compete in designing creative, symbolic and artistic landmarks that reflect national unity and history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The winning designs are built in one of the Kingdom’s public areas or squares and inaugurated on the Saudi national day every year.
