AEC, Aramco, Japan’s Yokogawa partner to localize semiconductor industry

On the Sidelines of Future of Semiconductors Forum organized by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, SAMI’s Advanced Electronic Company (AEC) signed cooperation deal with Aramco and Japan’s Yokogawa to localize semiconductor chip manufacturing in Saudi Arabia.

This partnership aims at boosting growth in the industrial digital business domain, localizing semiconductor industry and promoting research, development and innovation.

Nabil Alnuaim, Aramco’s Vice President of Digital Transformation, said that enhancing partnership between Advanced Electronics and Yokogawa enhances technology supply chains and the national economy.

It should be noted that Adanced Electronics Company was established in 1988 in Riyadh, AEC is a leader in the electronics, technology, and manufacturing industries.
