Council of Economic & Development Affairٍs Review, Discuss Several Issues

Council of Economic & Development Affairs reviewed several reports, presentations and topics on its agenda, including the quarterly economic report of the Ministry of Economy and Planning.

It also discussed, during a virtually held meeting, a presentation submitted by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture regarding accomplishments, in the water sector, in terms of their legislative, regulatory and executive aspects.

Presentation submitted by the Public Investment Fund, in coordination with the relevant authorities, regarding the level of progress achieved in major project, was visited, too.

It dealt with a 3rd presentation submitted by the Ministry of Finance, regarding the evaluation of the government competition and procurement system.

And that was followed up by deliberating on the periodic reports submitted by the ministries of health and economy and planning, separately and respectively, regarding the health and economic developments related to the coronavirus (Covid-19).

On these issues, the council concluded by issuing the necessary relating recommendations.
