Virtually held, several economic issues announced

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud presided over the Cabinet weekly session, virtually, held.

During it, it approved a memo of understanding between the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture and the Japanese Ministry of Environment, on cooperation, in the field of environment.

It also approved a memo of understanding between the Saudi government the Omani government on cooperation, in the field of investment promotion.

On the other hand, it authorized the Minister of Finance – his deputy, or representative – to discuss with the British side, a draft-memo of understanding between the Saudi Ministry of Finance and the British Royal Treasury, on enhancing cooperation, in the areas of developing financial and public financial services.

In addition, it endorsed a memo of understanding between the Saudi Saline Water Conversion Corporation and the Russian Ufa State University of Petroleum Technology, on cooperation in the field of desalination technologies, operation, and maintenance of pipelines.

As well as, endorsing the elderly rights and care system.

The Ministry of Sports, the Cabinet decided, should apply the provisions contained in the regulation of the disposal of municipal real estates, on lands allocated for the benefit of the Ministry, sports facilities affiliated with it, and contracts for investment rights to name and sponsor sports facilities affiliated with it, for specific periods.

Agreeing to regulate the governance of export prevention and restriction procedures, the Cabinet stated.

Appointing a host of Specialists and experts, in the fields related to the functioning of the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority, as members of the Board of Directors of the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority, the Cabinet decided.

And finally, approving the final account of the Human Resources Development Fund for a previous fiscal year, the Cabinet concluded.
