Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) organized today the “Coaching Day” event at its headquarters in Riyadh, in the presence of the CEO of SFDA Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey, during which he honored the six best leaders in SFDA who adopted the coaching approach.
Coaching is among the most important modern methods for developing leaders’ skills, through dialogue sessions with deep questions that stimulate creative thinking to build plans and strategies to reach goals, which results in an improvement in individual and institutional performance, a higher level of trust in the organization in its various units, and an improvement in integration and harmony.
The event included a speech by the CEO, a video presentation about coaching, and an exhibition in which specialized and internationally accredited centers participate to introduce coaching and the services provided by them.
The event also included sessions with the most prominent internationally accredited coaching experts, workshops and dialogue sessions discussing the importance of coaching, SPA reported.
The first workshop discussed methods of leadership in a virtual environment, the basic competencies of remote leadership, the complexities and benefits of virtual coaching, and tips for virtual coaching.
The second workshop discussed the role of coaching in the leaders’ development journey during all stages of development and development of leadership capabilities and personalities, and how it affects the enhancement of skills acquired from training, and Dale Carnegie’s methodology.
