TASI Starts the New Year Trading Higher, Ending over 11,331.9 pts, NOMU Rises, too

TASI, the main index of Tadawul stock exchange started the new year trading, up, gaining 50.20 points, to end the session, at 11,331.91, with transactions worth as much as SR04.40 billion.

The volume of traded shares was 129 million, shared by more than 230 thousand deals, in which as many as 116 companies were advancers against 77 decliners.

Meanwhile, the spread between the highest and lowest quotations was shrinking, ranging from 09.96% down to 07.79%.

Saudi parallel market index NOMU, followed the main index course, closing higher as it climbed 299.76 points to close at 2,275.59 points, with transactions worth SR111 million, and a volume of traded stocks amounted to 650 thousand, shared by as many as 4,757 deals.
