Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi appointed a temporary board of directors for the Chamber of Commerce, in the Tabuk region, based on the powers granted to him, under the Chambers of Commerce system and its executive regulations.
The decision stipulated that the temporary board of directors assume the duties of the chamber, in accordance with the rules, regulations and instructions, starting from the issuance of the decision until another ministerial decision is issued, to form a board of directors for the chamber for the next new session.
Consequently, a 6-member temporary board of directors were named.
The temporary board of directors is scheduled to hold its first meeting to select its chairman as well as the first and second deputies.
It is noteworthy that the Minister of Commerce approved, last week, the dissolution of the Board of Directors of the Tabuk Chamber, after it was proven that the board has exceeded the limits of its powers, in addition to inability to perform its duties, resulting from disputes among the members of the board.
