Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) received the ISO certificate, for Business Continuity Management (ISO 22301: 2019) from the British Standards Institution (BSI).

The certification comes as a culmination of the fund’s recent achievement of 95% of compliance with the requirements of the National Risk Council, in relation to business continuity management.

The fund was keen to obtain this certificate, as an extension of its adoption of a proactive approach to confronting business interruption incidents, which enhances the confidence of the fund’s partners and customers and confirms its ability to mitigate the impact of these incidents and achieve its strategic objectives.

The fund was granted this certificate after a comprehensive review of the business continuity management system and all the fund’s strategies and plans to deal with accidents, disasters and crises to ensure business continuity, and to ensure their compliance with ISO standards.

In addition, the certificate confirms that the fund follows a clear methodology that enables it to identify risks and set appropriate controls to manage and deal with them, and adopt a preventive approach to reduce the impact of accidents, disasters and crises to the lowest level, which helps the fund to ensure the continuity of its business and the main services it provides.
