Saudi G20’s Sherpa Holds Kingdom’s Agenda 2022 Workshop

Saudi Sherpa to the G20, Assistant to the Minister of Finance for Macro-Fiscal Policies and International Relations Abdulaziz Al-Rasheed, has held a workshop entitled: The Kingdom’s Agenda Workshop in the G20 for the Year 2022”, as part of the follow-up to the Kingdom’s efforts and its representation, in the G20 meetings, under the presidency of Indonesia for the Year 2022.

It was held, in the presence of an array of representatives of relevant government agencies.

The workshop aimed to harmonize the work to formulate the Kingdom’s positions on topics to be raised, during the Indonesian presidency, in coordination with all relevant government agencies participating, in the G20 meetings for the year 2022.

The workshop also discussed the progress made by the working groups of the financial and Sherpa tracks, during the Indonesian presidency.

In addition to reviewing the work plan and the necessary preparations for the upcoming ministerial and Sherpa meetings, leading to the G20 leaders’ summit, at the end of October 2022. which is set to be virtually held, several economic issues announced
