Saudi Exchange Announces Trading Suspension on Alahli Takaful Shares

The Saudi Exchange announces the trading suspension on Alahli Takaful Co. shares in the Saudi Stock Exchange starting today Wednesday 12/01/2022 to commence delisting procedures of Alahli Takaful Co. shares.

Furthermore, the Securities Depository Center (Edaa) will announce the implementation of the increase in the quantity of Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Co.  shares and the deposit of the new shares in the Center’s Accounts of all eligible to Alahli Takaful Co. shareholders after two business days from the effective date of the merger and up to 6 business days as per The Exchange and Center Procedures.

This comes in reference to Alahli Takaful Co. announcement on the Saudi Exchange website on 12/12/2021 regarding the Company’s EGM approval of the offer submitted by Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Co. to merge Alahli Takaful Co. with Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Co. through securities exchange offer, and in reference to Alahli Takaful Co. announcement of the effective date of the merger starting from 12/01/2022.
