Saudi Electricity company Participate in IKTVA Forum 2022

The Saudi Electricity company participated in the IKTVA Forum 2022, held at the Dhahran International Convention and Exhibition Center, under the patronage of Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, and in the presence of Prince-minister of Energy Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.

A group of specialists and businessmen are taking part in the forum’s functions, where the company reviewed the initiatives and investment opportunities, in the electrical industries and their back-up services.

Saudi Electricity confirmed that supporting and promoting local content in the Kingdom is at the forefront of its goals and aspirations, noting that its participation in the forum aims to introduce the local content program, in the company and review the most prominent achievements that have been made and present the most prominent investment opportunities, to localize the industry.

In addition to the support services, in electricity sector; localizing the industry, developing the workforce, raising the private sector’s contribution to the GDP, and supporting the national economy, in line with the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision.

It indicated also that as part of its strategy, it has developed initiatives and programs to localize the electrical industries, aiming to attract investors and international companies to transfer modern technologies into the Kingdom, in addition to a set of various investment opportunities in the generation, transmission and distribution of electric power to localize electrical equipment and support services, which Investors and businessmen can benefit from it, in light of the company providing a competitive advantage, by up to 10% according to the local content, with the aim of supporting and encouraging contractors and manufacturers, to increase their contribution to raising the local content of the electrical industries.
