SAR, Careem, in Partnership, to Launch New Transportation Service

Saudi Arabia Railways SAR has signed a cooperation agreement with Careem to offer a service transporting passengers to and from its stations, with the aim of facilitating arrival to their final destinations.

The service offered by SAR in its first phase covers the North Train (Riyadh, Qassim) and the Eastern Train (Riyadh, Dammam, Hofuf).

While the second phase of the agreement is scheduled to cover the stations of (Al Majmaah, Hail, Al Jawf, Qurayyat, and Al-Shamal train, and Abqaiq, Al-Sharq train, for a full year.

The passenger transportation service allows Sar customers to book directly before their arrival, at the station, where they can make their reservations towards their final destinations, by choosing the Careem service, as 3 reception sites will be allocated by Careem to provide the new service, on the arrival area within the stations, as all stations shall include guiding systems to guide SAR customers, on arrival to these venues.

Sar and Careem will jointly work with the aim of strengthening the partnership, that exists between them within Sar stations, and the website, including the application for the two parties to the agreement, with the allocation of an information window about Sar on the Careem application to provide customers with all information they may stand in need about their journey, in order to improve the customer experience, and encourage them to make advance bookings, for the transportation service with Careem.
