Petro Rabigh Receives SR2.83 bln Early Repayment Of Loan Provided to RAWEC

Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company (Petro Rabigh) announced on Sunday that it has received from Rabigh Arabian Water and Electricity Company (RAWEC) an amount of SR 2.835 billion (756 million USD) on December 30, 2021, as an early repayment of a loan provided by Petro Rabigh through financing facilities to build RAWEC’s plants to produce water, steam, and electricity.

The company said on (Tadawul) that it will pay the mentioned amount to reduce its overall debt. The positive impact of this early repayment will enhance the debt-to-equity ratio.
