Ministry of Investment to Participate, in the workings of Int’l Mining Conference

Ministry of Investment is set to participate, in the workings of the International Mining Conference, to be held, in Riyadh, under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on 11-13 January, as a strategic partner for the conference, with the aim of reviewing aspects of the development of the business environment, in the Kingdom. Introducing investment opportunities in the mining and minerals sector and enhancing the sustainability of investment in the sector.

Minister of Investment, Eng. Khalid Al-Falih will take part, in the gathering, as a speaker, addressing opening discussion session, focusing on investment in the mining and minerals sector, and the development of value chains.

Through it, he is set to review the volume and opportunities of investments in various mining fields.

The session will also review legislative and procedural reforms, in the business environment, that would enhance the Kingdom’s position as a leading investment destination, in addition to the role of the national investment strategy, to provide promising and unprecedented opportunities for investors, in all related sectors.

On the side-lines of the gathering, the investment identity “Invest in Saudi” will participate, in a special pavilion, to showcase a group of government agencies, falling under its umbrella, to review the most promising investment opportunities for the mining and minerals sector, and the services and incentives provided to investors.
