Minister of Human Resources Launches the National Giving Index initiative for 2021

 Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi launched, via visual communication technology, the National Giving Index initiative for the Year 2021.

The minister extended thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership for its interest in consolidating the values ​​of giving in society, and for the support and care that the development and social sector enjoys, in accordance with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

National Giving Index is among the ministry’s initiatives, in partnership with Al-Athar Center to empower the non-profit sector and increase its contribution to development, and to achieve the ministry’s goals related to promoting community giving, the minister pointed out, calling on individuals of all categories to engage in community work and voluntary efforts, organized by the government and authorities.

The indicator measures the giving of individuals through five aspects: (donation, volunteering, blood donation, organ donation, and community solidarity.)

Al-Athar Center completed the survey work and procedures to collect and measure the bid and analyze its results as a house of expertise, in building and developing composite indicators, where the value of the National Bid Index for 2021 increased to 67.1. to be an effective tool in enhancing the impact of development and economic interventions.

While the CEO of the Impact Center, Eng. Ahmed Al-Shamrani stressed during the launching ceremony, the significance of the study and the great challenge that accompanied its implementation, reasserting that the center took a several samples from all regions of the Kingdom, and over 7,000 samples were studied and analyzed.
