HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz has set clear a set of goals for the tourism sector to be translated, on the ground by 2030, and provided us with capabilities, a well, hence it remains a must for us to achieve the goals, Ahmed Al-Khatib, Minister of Tourism announced.

“We plan to reach 10% of tourism’s GDP contribution, in 2030, by receive 100 million visits annually, and add a million jobs. We planned and will achieve the goals, God willing,” he explained, in a tweet posted in his Twitter account.

“Though we have a lot of work ahead to achieve our ambitious goals, however we will achieve them and we will succeed, God willing, making the Kingdom among the most attracting tourist destinations in the world, in 2022,” he stressed.

Tourism sector in the Kingdom has, previously, achieved a lot, especially, during the Year 2021, he added, despite the challenges related to the Coronavirus pandemic, through setting record numbers, in domestic tourism, and consequently restoring a large percentage of outgoing numbers of tourists, abroad the Kingdom.

Among the significant tools of realizing our objective, are ongoing training and on-job training efforts exerted, for the Saudi youth, creating much more job opportunities, raising the sector employment growth rate, in tandem with the growing influence of the Kingdom, internationally.
