Eastern Region’s Governor Inaugurates Al-Ahsa Processed Dates’ Marketing Festival

Governor of the Eastern Region Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz inaugurated Al-Ahsa Processed Dates Marketing Festival, organized by Al-Ahsa Municipality, in strategic partnership with the Eastern Region Development Authority and Al-Ahsa Chamber, at the Al-Ahsa Heritage Castle.

Al-Ahsa hoards many heritages that we are proud of, in addition to many national products, most notably dates and other agricultural crops, the Prince-governor stressed.

Al-Ahsa is the largest and most famous natural palm oasis, in the world, culminating in achieving as many as 11 records in the Guinness Book of World Records, and included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

He noted the keenness of farmers and traders to produce quality varieties, and benefit from the abundance of dates production, in order to achieve the set goals, in line with the aspirations and support of our wise leadership, towards achieving the Kingdom’s ambitious vision 2030.
