1st Virtual Recruitment Exhibition for Transport, Logistics System Launched

Minister of Transport and Logistics, Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser inaugurated the first virtual recruitment exhibition for the transport and logistics system.

Its first edition is set to be launched, under the title “Logistics Future Capabilities.”

Such an exhibition comes as an extension of the strong commitment of the transport and logistics system in supporting and activating indigenization programs, and achieving the objectives of the national

strategy for transport and logistics services, Al-Jasser explained, indicating that the transport and logistics system will continue to work hard, in 2022, to provide and add another 20,000 job opportunities to the sector workforce, and employing 45,000 young national men and women by the end of this year.

Transport and logistics system is working to launch 4 new employment tracks and programs.

The first track is related to empowering and expanding the field of women’s work, in the sector, and the second is for future professions related to modern transportation technologies, while the third track is related to promoting self-employment and entrepreneurship, in the transportation and logistics system, he stressed.

While the fourth track will be dedicated to truck drivers, he added, saying that work is underway to expand training programs, by adding 4 programs to the Logistics Academy, and opening a branch in Jeddah.
