Zakat, Tax, Customs Authority called on taxpayers from the business sector subject to withholding (deduction) tax, in the Kingdom, to submit their tax returns for last November, no later than December 10.
It urged taxpayers to submit their tax returns quickly through the website (zatca.gov.sa), in order to avoid a fine for default, within the specified period, at the rate of 1% of the unpaid tax for each 30 (thirty) days delay from the due date
Those wishing to obtain more information regarding the withholding tax, shall contact the authority via the unified call center number (19993), operating 24- hour a day, 7-day a week, or “Ask Zakat, Tax and Customs” account, on Twitter (@Zatca_Care), e-mail: (info@zatca.gov.sa), or through instant conversations via the website (zatca.gov.sa.)
Withholding tax is in force in the Kingdom, deducted from the total income of a non-resident establishment, in the Kingdom, in return for services it provides inside the Kingdom, in accordance with the rates specified, in Article 63 of the Income Tax Law Regulations.
