SAIP Signs MoC with Bahraini Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism

The Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP) has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of the Kingdom of Bahrain to strengthen the strategic partnership in the field of the intellectual property between the two sides.

This came during the work of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, on the sidelines of the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Within the framework of the memorandum, the two sides intend to enhance the joint work, coordination, exchange consultation and experiences to develop strategies and exchange intellectual property information and data.

The memorandum also aims to build capacities, train and develop the human resources, and enhance respect and enforcement of the intellectual property, in addition to share patent examination work and develop intellectual property processes and procedures in accordance with the best practices and methodologies.
