Rub Al-Khali-based Custom Station Start Serving Travelers

Customs station at Rub Al-Khali (Empty Quarter) outlet connecting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman started providing travelers to and from the Kingdom, with all required services, and facilitating truck and vehicle movement procedures, after the official announcement of the phased inauguration of the port.
The port includes a passenger area and a cargo, in addition to the administrative and the temporary housing areas for employees, SPA reported.

The passenger area at the port has a capacity of 1,700 vehicles per day, while the cargo area has a capacity of 966 trucks per day.
