Local Content Authority Approve Mobily Percentage

The Local Content and Government Procurement Authority recently approved the percentage of local content for Mobily, thus, the latter obtained the local content certificate for the second year, in a row, as a continuation of its efforts and contributions as a strategic partner, within the local content partnerships initiative launched by the authority.

This came during the reception of the CEO of the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority Abdulrahman Al-Samari to CEO of Etihad Etisalat Company Mobily Eng. Salman Al-Badran.

The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation and work on developing local content in the telecommunications and information technology sector, which will reflect positively on achieving the development goals of the national economy and achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

The Local Content and Government Procurement Authority indicated that it worked with Etihad Etisalat Company Mobily to support its efforts and work aimed at developing local content in the telecommunications sector, through several tracks.
