Foreign Investors Raise their Stake, to have Shares in 90 Enterprises

Foreign investors’ stake, revealed that their shareholding have increased in as many as 90 companies listed on the Saudi stock exchange Tadawul, with 22.8 million shares purchased, at a, market value of SR827 million, while theirs another 71 other companies declined, by selling 5.8 million shares at a market value of 1SR77 million, following the last trading session, on Thursday, a regularly released report tracking change in their stake, revealed.

Theirs in the Saudi Aramco increased to 0.31%, or 0.01% from the previous session, by purchasing 20 million shares, with a market value of SR695 million.

Food Development company topped the list in terms of percentage increase in foreign investor stake, rising 0.47 percent to 1.25 percent from 0.78 percent the previous session, by purchasing 14.1 thousand, at a market value of SR3.5 million, based on the last quoted price of the share, at the closing.

On the other hand, Salama Insurance company topped in terms of the percentage of foreign investors’ stake’s decrease, as theirs decreased by 0.13 percent, to 2.6 percent, from 2.73 percent, in the previous session, by selling 32.5 thousand shares at, a market value of SR600 thousand riyals, according to the last closing price of the stock.

The Saudi stock index TASI has ended Wednesday’s trading session with a loss of 52.92 points, or 0.48 percent, compared to the previous session, closing at 10,938.88 points.
