STC leading the way, Al-Omran the main decliner
Foreign Investors Increase their Stake, in 75 Firms
Foreign investors increased their stake in as many as 75 companies listed on the Saudi stock exchange Tadawul, with 52.6 million shares purchased, at a market value of SR4.1 billion, while theirs in 55 other companies declined by selling 1.2 million shares, at a market value of SR45.5 million, during the last session, a regular daily issued report tracking down their portfolio’s movement revealed.
Acquiring 20 million shares with a market value of $700 million, foreign stake in the conglomerate grew to 0.31% compared to 0.01% in the previous session.
STC topped the number of foreign investors’ stake percentage, rising 1.47 percent to 7.02 percent from 5.55% in the previous session, by purchasing 29.4 million shares with a market value of SR3.2 billion, based on the last price of the share, at the close.
Al-Omran company topped the list of foreign investors’ decrease, in terms of their stake, declining by 0.23% to 1.04%, from 1.27% in the previous session, as they sold 13.8 thousand shares, at a market value of SR1.6 million, based on the stock’s latest closing price.
The Saudi stock index Tadawul completed trading on Tuesday at 1,1024.68 points, up 4.82 points, or 0.04%, from the previous session.
