Foreign Investors Hold Stake, in 73 Companies
Foreign investors hold stake in as many as 73 companies listed on the Saudi stock exchange Tadawul, as of Wednesday 28 Dec 2021, with 3.3 million traded shares, at a market value of SR153 million, while theirs in other 80 companies declined, as they sold 3.8 million shares, at a market value of SR109 million.
Food Development company topped, in terms of percentage of foreign investors’ purchasing increase, rising 0.32% to 2.68% from 2.36% the previous session, by purchasing 56 thousand shares, at a market value of SR6.4 million.
On the other hand, Atheeb Telecom company topped the otherwise list, in terms of the percentage of foreign investors’ decrease, with theirs declining by 0.32%, to 2.40%, from 2.72%, in the previous session, as they sold 73 thousand shares, at a market value of SR2.2million.
The Saudi stock index TASI concluded trading on Wednesday, at 115.48 points, up to 11,199.84 points, or 1.02%, from the previous session.
Changes relating to foreign investors are traced on every two previous working days, as the financial exchange adopted the settlement time period T+2, which represents the time between execution of transaction and registration of transfer of owning a security, and the actual payment of the transaction value.
