Tadawul Group the favorite, again, Medgulf the big decliner
Foreign Investors Hold Stake, in 63 Companies
Foreign investors increased their stake in as many as 68 companies listed on the Saudi stock exchange Tadawul, with 4.7 million shares purchased at a market value of SR512 million, while their shareholding declined in as much as 103 other companies, as they sold 29.1 million shares, at a market value of SR1.05 billion, according to a daily report, tracking down their deals and shareholding movement.
Foreign stake in Saudi Aramco decreased to 0.3%, or 0.01%, from the previous session by selling 20 million shares, with a market value worth SR697 million.
Tadawul Group topped the list for the second session, in terms of the percentage of foreign investors’ stake increase, at the end of the last session, as theirs increased by 2.8% to 11.93%, up from 9.13% in the previous session.
They purchased 3.4 million shares worth SR425 million, based on the last closing price per share).
Medgulf company topped the list in terms of the percentage of foreign investors’ stake decrease, with theirs declining 0.30 percent to 5.68 percent, from 5.98 percent the previous session, by selling 315,000 shares, with a market value of SR5.7 million.
The Saudi stock index Tadawul finished Monday’s trading with a gain of 50.80 points, or 0.46%, compared to the previous session, which has posted 11,019.86 points, at the closing.
