Aramco Announces Court Ruling in Favor of it in Case Brought by Al-Qarqani Heirs

Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) announced on Sunday the latest developments related to the case brought by Heirs of Khalid Abu Al-Waleed Al-Hood Al-Qarqani.

Further to the announcement made by the Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) on 27-01-2021 in relation to the case brought by the Heirs of Khalid Abu Al-Waleed Al-Hood Al-Qarqani and the appeal notice Saudi Aramco received from the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas on 21-01-2021where the aforementioned Heirs appealed the trial-level court’s ruling in favour of Saudi Aramco to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Appellants are entitled to seek further review in the court of appeals, the US Supreme Court, or both.
